The Vine-Yard Restaurant located on the outskirts of Kelowna in Peachland, British Columbia offers the largest Okanagan Cookery School for home cooks and food enthusiasts. Whether you are an experienced home cook from within the Kelowna, Peachland or Okanagan area or are just beginning to discover the passion for home cooking and are visiting the wine region of the Okanagan, our winery Cookery School can help you take your cooking to the next level.

From hands-on classes to demonstration classes or the The Secrets of Cookery demonstrations, the experience of the wineries professionally equipped cookery school and wide range of classes; ranging in length from a three-hour class with a 3-course lunch or dinner and plenty of Hainle wines tasting included, we offer you a full day culinary okanagan winery experience with a real cooking adventure.

All okanagan cookery classes or demonstration cooking classes are geared to avid home cooks and food enthusiasts.

Lend a hand and be chef for the day!! Or just soak up the flavours	Meet new friends and above all else have fun and create a memory	The classes are fun, formative and you can cook them at home

All classes include printed recipe hand-outs and a generous “taste” of all dishes being prepared, followed by a three-course lunch or dinner and always plenty of wine tasting from Hainle Organic Winery.

Which ever okanagan cookery class or cooking demonstration you are participating in you will receive a three-course meal experience, a wine tasting and all your knives, tools and equipment will be provided.

All we need you to bring is your appetite for good food, good okanagan wine and a little fun.

In addition to our regular classes, The Okanagan Cookery School also offers private classes for groups of 6 to 40 persons and corporate team building classes.

For these classes we build a class to suit your desired event and tailor the event to meet your budget and objectives.

The Okanagans Cookery School offers guests visiting or living in the Kelowna / okanagan wine region area a wide range of cookery and wine classes allowing guests to immerse themselves in inspirational culinary programs designed to offer food and wine enthusiasts an opportunity to take advantage of such programs.

In our homey kitchen of our organic winery, we de-mystify the art of effortless entertaining in the

home-place…..while making it fun as well.

Join us every Wednesday, Friday or Saturday for a 3-hour class,

3-course lunch or dinner accompanied with plently of wine tastings and a perhaps even a cellar tour and wine cask tasting.

Lunch Cookery Class from 10am until 3pm - $69.00

Dinner Cookery Class from 6pm until 10pm - $79.00

Book for 6 to 20 and we can host a private cookery class on any day or night at any time.

Secrets of Okanagan Cuisine Participation Classes

It’s a hands-on team-building experience at The Okanagans Cooking School.

This is great for guests visiting Kelowna, Peachand or the Okanagan wine region for corporate entertaining

Working in teams of two, prepare a 3-course menu featuring seasonal products and pair with wines from our winery that best compliments your menu. 

Our wine maker who makes some of British Columba's finest wines will judge the overall pairing.

Afterwards, sit down and enjoy a 3-course lunch or dinner in The Vine-Yard dining room,

where our Chef and Winemaker will announce the winners and the team who get to take home the

distinguished wooden spoon!!!!!

Every team member receives a set of recipes, digital photographs and The Okanagans Cookery School memento.

For groups of six or more we will hold a private cookery class at any time.

Day and Night cooking classes are available.

Arrive and enjoy a private cellar tour from one of the okanagans most intimate wineries, with a cask tasting of a yet unreleased vintage, accompanied with canapés.

Take your seat in our cookery school where our chefs will prepare ‘your’ selected menu in front of you in the form of a cookery class. 

As we complete each course, you dine and wine on the finest wines from around British Columbia.

We pour 4 distinctive wines from around British Columbia wineries to match your meal experience.

You can join in and cook if you like.

Wine Games and our unique "Wine Olympic" are held during dinner.

This event is a great way to entertain your corporate guests of freinds and family visiting the Okanagan wine region and interact as a group.

Enjoy a Cookery Class Dinner, Wine Tasting, Games and even lend a hand if you are up to it.
