Lovely
ripe pinot fruit nose with lifted ripe
berries and herbs. Delicious, powerful
pinot palate with spicy elegance. Excellent
length and concentration of fruit. Pinot
Noir is, without question, the most versatile
wine with all foods. We enjoy roasting
and grilling to caramelize proteins and
add a deeper flavor to foods. Grilled
fish is great with Pinot Noir; smoked
trout, roasted vegetables, peppers and
brown-glazed onions. Stuff meats with
savory herbs, such as rosemary, marjoram
and Greek oregano. Use aromatic herbs;
cumin, cardamom and coriander. And, of
course, there's lamb! Marinated in olive
oil, red wine, soy sauce, crushed garlic
and fresh rosemary. Or simply grilled
with a liberal amount of black pepper
and salt. And, by all means, don't hesitate
to put your Pinot Noir in the refrigerator
for an hour or so before serving in the
summertime. We often say there is only
one thing better than a good bottle of
Deep Creek's Pinot Noir with a great meal.
Another one. Bon Appetit and Good Pinot! CSPC # 74187 |

  2004 Pinot Noir Signature
Series |
2004
was another hot and great year for Okanagan
reds. Dark colour and a brooding nose
of cherry and plum. The palate is rich
with hints of medium tossed French oak
that gives it a taste of vanilla in the
finish. The chocolate blends in really
well with the plum notes. It has great
texture with light tannins. A lovely wine
that even released earl shows already
great potential to be one of our best
Pinot Noirs ever.

2003
was an outstanding year for red wines
which shows well in our newest Zweigelt
release. This Austrian variety has a fresh
raspberry, and chocolaty character, with
a medium body and light tannins. Matches
with our Plateau Campagnard, Vegetarian
Spring Salad, Beef Pinot Noir, also with
Mediterranean flavors.

Blend
wines are becoming our signature wines.
Originally blended because of the necessity
of stretching our Zweigelt production
to higher values we created our Z2 and
Z3 wines. This enabled us to produce production
increased of over 150% without sacrificing
our quality of wines. To out surprise
our customers are drawn to our creations
like we never could imagine. Sommeliers
love them and wine collectors are storing
these wines in their wine cellars.
This unique red blend of Zweigelt and
Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from select
Vine Yards of the Okanagan Valley was
inspired by the popularity of our release
the Z3 red wine. The Cabernet sauvignon
provides the foundation of a tasty and
satisfying full body table wine, while
the Zweigelt gives plenty of fruit spices
and chocolate notes. Some of the best
Vine Yards in BC provided the components
that made this wine the mouth-filling
adventure that it is. The wine matches
beautifully with spicy poultry dishes,
Mediterranean foods, soft cheeses, and
shellfish. This wine is drinking very
well now, and it should cellar until
at least 2015.

 2004 Z3 (Merlot, Pinot Meunier, Zweigelt) |
Dr.
Zweiglet did very well when he experimented
with a St. Laurent and a Lamberger to
create a red wine which grows well in
colder climats. He never intended for
this varietal to be
planted in Canada and start a new revolution
of outstanding blend wines here
at our winery. This our 2nd release
of our awardwinning Z3 is just as amazing
as our first one was, in fact we think
with the change of one of our components
from Pinot Noir to the more medium bodied
Pinot Meunier we achieved to produce a
better wine. The extra age of the Zweigelt
vines makes this release an even more
exiting one then our fist 2002
Z3. Again as all Zweigelt wines, this
wine is drinking very well now, and it
should cellar well until at least 2014.
